A student with a certifiable learning or physical disability who requires special accommodations, should call and make an appointment with the ADA office at 402-399-2490 or email [email protected]. Considerable lead-time is required for accommodations, so it is important that your request is received in the Achievement Center ADA office as early in the semester as possible. Please note that your request will be handled confidentially.
The University will make reasonable accommodations for an otherwise qualified disabled student in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Students are responsible for self-identifying and requesting accommodations.
Faculty are not required to make disability accommodations unless official documentation is provided to them by the ADA officer.
