Spanish 211 is designed as a continuation and extension of the materials introduced in the first year of Spanish. It offers a study of grammatical structures and an expansion of vocabulary through an introduction to the familiar and formal commands, irregular preterites, constructions with se, adverbs, reciprocal reflexives, and the imperfect and present subjunctive verb tenses. All skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) will be emphasized during the course. This course is taught in the Spanish language.
