This course is designed to prepare students for transition to Level II fieldwork experiences and entry level practice. Students will prepare for the transition to practice by reviewing fieldwork site specific materials such as assessments, standardized tests, and documentation. Students will also develop an understanding of the fieldwork performance evaluation expectations, including how to manage difficult situations involving ethics, communication, and safety. Students will be expected to exhibit professional behaviors and identify appropriate strategies, as well as resources to foster personal and professional growth, as a Level II fieldwork student and future occupational therapist.
