Alternate Admissions Pathway

Applicants who do not meet the criteria for the general admission process may be reviewed within the alternate admissions pathway.  A representative from Admissions will contact the applicant for additional materials that may demonstrate their potential for success.

Students who are admitted via Alternate Admissions Pathway will be required to complete an academic success strategies course and register for a maximum of 14 credits during their first semester. Students will be required to take IDS 121 (Strategies for Success), except for BSN Pathway students who will be required to take IDS 140. First year students will be required to participate in the CSM Advantage program. Other requirements may be stated upon acceptance through the Alternate Admissions Pathway.
